And we thought she was so cute.

I was going to blog these pictures and laugh about how funny Wendy looks but I now see I need help. Last night was book club, and usually my kids go to bed and don't really bother us. I think we bother them more with our loud laughing and talking. They actually gotten use to it. Anyway my kids didn't have school the next day and so we let them all watch movies. Most everyone watched their movie and went to sleep, but not Wendy. She kept coming down and driving me bonkers. She then comes down stairs with her lips painted with lip gloss. I sent her up stairs to kiss daddy and have him wipe it off. He then sent her down stairs to kiss me. Well she didn't come back and went in her room. So she fell asleep with this crap on her lips. I call it crap because it is just that crap. Here is where the trouble comes. When she got up this morning I saw her lips and I tried to wipe it off. It's like paint it won't come off. I washed it with soap and water, scraped it with my nails, I even tried alcohol (by the way don't ever try that on your child's face). Nothing will make if come off. So if any of you know what to do let me know. I'm at a loss. I will try anything that won't hurt Wendy. PLEASE HELP!

Stephanie had to do a diarama for school and she did it on the book Hatchet. This is a scene from the book where the kid in the book is making a fire with his hatchet. She paper mached the cave and then Anne, Mary Alice, and Wendy helped her glue the grass on and then she made the fire and the sign Hatchet. I thought it looked so nice that I wanted to take a picture of her with it. Isn't she beautiful.

Lindsey's new Doo

I went today and got my hair cut. I love it so much. I was talking to Anne at dinner and realized that I look just like her now.

Wendy's first day

Okay so there are two pictures here one is Wendy before we left for school. I don't know how long it will take for her to learn to smile normal, but I sure love it when she make this silly face. The whole time she smiles she says, "Cheeeeese." We don't know what she'll look like when she smiles normal. I'm sure it will be cute though.
The next picture is of the teachers at "My School." That is where I teaching the cooking class. As you can see we have a lot of kids and our meetings are funny because all the moms are running after their children and no one can hear. There are a few teachers that weren't there yet and they have kids as well. We had fun and Wendy loves to be at school with her friends.
Just a little side note I want to mention that today is 911 and it's been 7 years already. If feels like it was yesterday. I will never forget where I was when it happened and I was very happy with the way our leaders handled the situation. God Bless America.
