Alice through the looking glass

Last night I took my girls to see Alice in Wonderland. We got dressed up and drove to Louisville to eat at the Old Spaghetti Factory first. I have wanted to eat there since I was a kid and it was the first time. I was really excited. Then we went to see Alice Through the Looking Glass.

When we got there we were told that not only did we have tickets for the show but we got to sit on the stage. We were going to be part of the show. Mary Alice got nervous she didn't want to have to be in the show. LOL. When we went to sit down they also told us that we needed to use the restroom because we would not have any intermission and we couldn't leave since we were on stage. So I took Wendy to the bathroom. Knowing Wendy I knew she wouldn't be able to hold her pee.

We were not 10 minutes into the show when Wendy started to jump around and hold herself and tell me that she had to pee again. I couldn't leave they told me not to. What was I going to do. I put her on my lap to get her moving and get pee off mind. I guess I thought that would work. Then of course she peed all over my lap.

I don't know if you all have ever been in this situation before but it was awful. Every time the lights went on you could see the puddle on the floor under my feet. The worst part was that the actors would come right over and talk to us. I was so afraid that they would slip in the pee so I put my legs out. I was devastated and Wendy was jolly since she peed. She was smiling and laughing.

Then Wendy told me that she had to pee again. I almost started crying. I just got up and ran off the stage. It was pretty dramatic. I got to the bathroom and cleaned my legs, skirt, and shoes as well as Wendy's underwear (her skirt was clean because it was up when she peed on me). We were wet but we didn't smell like pee anymore.

When we got back to the stage they were in the tea party scene. I waited until the lights went out and ran back to my seat. I was like I just appeared on stage. It was kinda funny. When the lights went low again I cleaned up the puddle of pee under my seat with the paper towels from the bathroom and then I really felt better. I could finally relax and enjoy the rest of the show. Now I wish I could say that was the end but I can't.

Not 5 minutes after we sat back down the Mad Hatter decided to sit in my lap. I tried to prevent him from doing it but I couldn't without grabbing his butt. So he just sat in my wet lap. uggg! That was really embarrassing.

After the show everyone kept coming up to Wendy and telling her how cute she was and that they had more fun watching her then the show. All I kept thinking was I hope you didn't see her pee.

Freedom!!!

I thought since I haven't blogged in a while I would start with this. What is better that a lazy day at the beach? *** Freedom!! **** Now you have to say it like William Wallace in Braveheart. You know really scream it. FREEDOM!!!!

Having all your kids in school for the first time is NICE. As much as I love them I'm so glad that won't come and tell me one more time, "Mom I'm bored." I started to make them clean every time they said that to me. The last week I've had the cleanest house.

Wendy didn't even look back at me. She ran into her classroom smiling and ready for school. Stephanie whom you see in not in this picture was not ready to have a picture taken. She was still getting ready. But I promise she looked beautiful when she left.
